Men Elite mobility
The team presentation and start of the Men Elite will both take place at the Stationsplein in Roeselare. From the centre of Roeselare and coming from the station, the start area is easily accessible on foot.
Stationsplein is easily accessible by bike from the outskirts via bike-friendly roads. There is a bike park on the Stationsplein in the vicinity of the bus stop. Please note that the bike park is not guarded, so be sure to bring your lock to secure your bicycle.
During the race, all normal transport tickets, such as season tickets or a Lijnkaart, are valid. All information and timetables can be found at www.delijn.be. De Lijn's stops in the city centre of Roeselare are within walking distance of Stationsplein.
At Bruges and Gent Sint-Pieters station there are regular trains to Roeselare. These train journeys take 30 to 45 minutes. The station of Roeselare is located next to our start site at the Stationsplein. So be sure to check the timetable of the trains to Roeselare and get to the start of Dwars door Vlaanderen without parking problems.
In Roeselare there are a lot of car parks where you can safely park your car. The 'Wallenparking', 'De Munt', the 'Moermanparking' and the 'NMBS parking' are within walking distance of the start.
The Wallenparking is accessible via the Diksmuidsesteenweg, the Moermanparking can be reached via the Sint Amandsstraat, 'De Munt' via the Henri Horriestraat and the NMBS car park is easily accessible via the Beversesteenweg.

The start of the Women Elite will take place at the Gaverbeekhippodrome in the Holstraat, while the finish line (for Men and Women Elite) and the spectator area around the finish line will be a little further on the Verbindingsweg. Both locations are close to the city centre and easily accessible on foot.
In the vicinity of both the start of the Women Elite and the finish line of Dwars door Vlaanderen, you can safely park your bike at, among others, the library (Boekenplein), the Elindus Arena and swimming pool De Treffer (Meersstraat).

At Bruges station, you can take a train to Waregem every 30 minutes, change trains at Gent-Sint-Pieters station. This train journey takes about an hour. Trains to Waregem also depart regularly at Gent-Sint-Pieters and Gent-Dampoort stations. These journeys take 20 to 30 minutes.
From the station it is about 1,5 kilometres to the arrival line. You can also take the bus there towards the arrival zone at Zuiderlaan/Verbindingsweg, but bear in mind that De Lijn's timetable might be altered due to our cycling race. View the NMBS timetable here.
The arrival zone of Dwars door Vlaanderen is just outside the city centre. The peripheral car parks in the area (Waregem Expo and Jeugdcentrum) are reserved for the race organisation.
Parking in the streets is free on Wednesday 29 March by exception. At all shop&go places, parking time will be limited to 30 minutes. The underground car parks Pand and Zuiderpromenade do remain paying. More info can be found at www.parkereninwaregem.be.
