Course
The women will start their Dwars door Vlaanderen at 14:10 from the HippoLoggia site in Waregem, where a full-fledged fan zone will once again be set up. A 129 km course awaits them, featuring 6 cobbled sectors and 8 climbs, with the Hellestraat as the only newcomer. For the women’s peloton, Berg Ten Houte, Côte de Trieu, Hotond, and Mariaborrestraat appear once on the programme. The finale, with two ascents of Nokereberg and twice the cobbles of Herlegemstraat, is identical to that of the men. The race concludes once again on the Verbindingsweg in Waregem, where we will finally be introduced to the successor to Elisa Longo Borghini.

On Wednesday 1 April, Waregem will breathe cycling. We will transform the Hippologgia site into a real fan village where there will be plenty of things to do! You can watch the races on a big screen, and there are bicycle races for the youngest ones.

Elisa Longo Borghini has added Dwars door Vlaanderen to her honorary list. About 25 kilometers from the finish, she attacked on the cobbles of Huisepontweg and overtook the leading duo, Reusser and Kraak. The Italian champion successfully completed her impressive solo effort. In the sprint of the chasing group, Lotte Kopecky edged out Elisa Balsamo.
